This is a very interesting question, and has been for several years. And in case anyone was thinking this: Can they think without language? No, that is not possible for the normal human. That is why deafness is much more crippling developmentally speaking. I can recommend a nice read about this in Oliver Sacks’ “Seeing Voices: A Journey Into The World Of The Deaf” if you’re interested [/psychologistrant]
